Our buddy “Monk” sent out a job alert this morning for a Precinct Desk Officer I – Police Department. Just for kicks, I decided to investigate.
This one sentence just jumped out at me: ”Interaction may be required with individuals who are unclean, HIV positive, intoxicated and/or use vulgar language.” Back when I was in the legal field myself we called this “full and fair disclosure” – I call it intriguing!
I know that some of you worry about my mental health but think about this a minute – BORING is the last thing you’d have to worry about heading off to work armed with Lysol. This is a bloggers dream assuming the Department would even let someone write about life in this role.
The posting states that it needs someone in the 4th Precinct (Kempsville) but if they had said the 1st Precinct (my hood), I’d have to consider it.
Is it wrong of me to think this might be a fun job?
