Have you ever heard your loved one make a comment to the effect of “The house was much cleaner when you were gone all week”? Gotta love that one!
In my feeble mind, that gives me carte blanche to in fact “do nothing” this week! Woo hoo!!
No more daily laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and most importantly, I shall not fight with my 2 beautiful children about picking up all their toys downstairs, straightening their rooms and putting their laundry away every single day. How about the weekly Commissary battles or my covert efforts to go through the endless amounts of paperwork coming home from school to determine what gets tossed and what gets saved for posterity? No big deal really.
Maybe I need to just keep playing on my computer and look for a class on how to actually do those things effectively? Suggestions are much appreciated!
